FAQ

How can we help?

The questions we get most, grouped so you can find yours quickly.

Visiting

What ages is Play Station 653 for?
We're built for children 6 months through 7 years. The play space is scaled for little bodies — the climbing, the furniture, the height of everything.
Can I drop my child off and run errands?
No. Every child must be accompanied by a responsible adult for the entire visit. We're a play center, not a childcare provider.
Do I need a reservation for open play?
No. Open play is walk-in during posted hours. Parties and group visits do require booking.
Are you open on weekends?
Open play runs 9am to 4pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. We're closed Thursdays. Sunday is reserved for private party bookings. On Saturdays with a party booked, we may close for part or all of the day — we post any closures on Facebook and on the door, so check there or call ahead before a Saturday visit.
What should we wear?
Socks are required for everyone in the play space — children and adults. We sell them at the counter if you forget.
Can we bring food?
Yes. There's a café area with tables where outside food and drink are welcome. We just ask that food stays out of the play space.
Is there parking?
Yes, free parking directly in front of the side entrance on Ridgeway Drive, and across the street in front of Baja's.
Do you have a changing area?
Yes, there's a changing station in the restroom.

Birthday parties

How far in advance should I book?
Weekend slots typically fill three to six weeks ahead, and faster in the fall and around school breaks. If you have a date in mind, book it early.
Can I book a party outside of weekends?
Yes. Weekday evening slots run 5:30 – 7:30 pm, and Monday holidays open up the full weekend schedule.
Is the space private during my party?
Completely. The play center is yours alone for the duration of your party, plus setup and breakdown time.
Can we bring our own cake and food?
Absolutely, and most families do. Bring the cake, the pizza, whatever you like. We provide the tables and, in packages 2 and 3, the themed tableware.
What happens to the deposit if we cancel?
Deposits are non-refundable — they hold a slot we then turn away other bookings for. If you need to move your date, reach out as early as you can and we'll do what we can to reschedule.
Who cleans up?
We do. Every package includes full staff cleanup. You leave with the gifts and nothing else.
Do adults count toward the guest maximum?
Yes. The guest maximum is everyone in the building — children and adults together, up to 49 for our largest package. Plan your list accordingly.

Memberships & passes

How does a membership pay for itself?
At $12 a visit, a monthly membership breaks even after the fourth visit. If you're here weekly, you're saving roughly half.
Can a membership be shared between siblings?
The Conductor covers one child. Punch passes are transferable between siblings.
Can I cancel a monthly membership?
Yes, any time, effective at the end of your current billing month.
